- Bank manager Peter Hunter and his new wife Frances (Simon Wonnacott and Doreen Pooley) are alone at last in their flat above the bank in the SBADS 1992 production of “No Sex Please, We’re British”
- Peter’s mum Eleanor (Cathie Pannell) decides to come and stay – and to do a bit of canoodling herself with her son’s boss Leslie Bromhead (Roger Wickham). Then things start to go wrong. From the SBADS 1992 production of “No Sex Please, We’re British”
- Eleanor’s flowers (from Harrods no less) are found destroyed in the wastepaper bin, which makes Eleanor very angry in the SBADS 1992 production of “No Sex Please, We’re British”.
- Peter gets angry when he finds his wife and his chief bank clerk Brian Runnicles (John Wain) poring over some rather naughty photos which Frances has received from a Swedish firm – by mistake, of course – in the SBADS 1992 production of “No Sex Please, We’re British”
- Eleanor mustn’t see them – nor must Mr Bromhead – so Brian is told to get rid of them. But no sooner has he done so than a Delivery Man (Edward Meek), helped by his assistant (Cathy Ross) arrive at the flat with a huge pile of equally naughty books. From the SBADS 1992 production of “No Sex Please, We’re British”.
- These are removed as well – only to be replaced by a carton of very dubious films, which local copper Superintendant Paul (Paul Wonnacott) almost intercepts – but not quite – in the SBADS 1992 production of “No Sex Please, We’re British”.
- Calamity! But worse is to come when the persistent firm sends two more bits of substantial erotica in the shapes of Barbara (Linzi Flett) and Susan (Kate Burgess) who get to work on yet another overnight guest: bank inspector Arnold Needham (Alan Prince) in the SBADS 1992 production of “No Sex Please, We’re British”.
- ‘Ello, ello, ello – what have we got here then?’ Mr Bromhead hides his eyes from the sight. (Or is he hiding his face from the girls who just might recognise it?) From the SBADS 1992 production of “No Sex Please, We’re British”.
- Getting nowhere, however, with Mr Needham, who’s under the influence of a sleeping draught, the girls prepare to have a go at Brian – who’s also had a drop of the sleeping brew and is just as bewildered as Arnold in the SBADS 1992 production of “No Sex Please, We’re British”.
- Brian has walked downstairs where the Superintendant has found him asleep on the dustbin in his underwear. ‘I want to confess everything,’ says Brian. ‘This is the end,’ thinks Frances. But it’s not because after that the girls come back, Eleanor is given a nasty shock, Mr Bromhead is thrown into an awkward situation, Brian has a nervous breakdown (at last), and on top of all that another ominous parcel makes its appearance on the scene. From the SBADS 1992 production of “No Sex Please, We’re British”
- It’s all too much for Brian and Arnold. In fact it’s caused them to start sleepwalking in the SBADS 1992 production of “No Sex Please, We’re British”
- The entire cast of this laugh-a-minute farce with back-stage workers Val Meek (far left), Jan Goss (far right) and Nick Wain( next-door-but-one to Jan). From the SBADS 1992 production of “No Sex Please, We’re British”.
