Plays

The Church Hall, South Brent, was full on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday of last week when the South Brent Amateur Dramatic Society presented a three-act play, “Golden Harvest," by Christian Mitchell and a one-act play, "Missing," by Gwyneth Jones. The proceeds of Tuesday evening's performance were for the Dartmoor Hunt. The producer, Miss Joy Carnochan, and the whole of the players are to be congratulated on what was acclaimed a magnificent performance. The Society have certainly lived up to their reputation, and must be well satisfied with the way in which they were supported by the public.
